From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the deceptive exterior, which transformed into a jaw-dropping interior when the sliding door was opened. the thoughtful touches, like the welcoming warm air from the well-functioning air-conditioner, made us feel immediately at home. the view of the starlit sky and snow-capped mountains in the morning was simply breathtaking. the cottage itself was spotlessly clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. Jim and Michele, the owners, were friendly and provided us with helpful tips on where to go. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and will definitely recommend Mahina Cottage to our friends.

The decoration of the cottage was simply delightful, with its cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The interior was tastefully finished, making it feel like a true home away from home. As a senior woman, I appreciated the thoughtful design that made it accessible for me to navigate comfortably. The general areas were well-maintained, and I particularly enjoyed the peacefulness of the surroundings. It was a perfect retreat for seniors like me, offering tranquility and serenity.
A small improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people would be to have more accessible and visible signage throughout the neighborhood. It can be a bit challenging for us to find our way in a new place, especially in the dark.

The location of the cottage was perfect, offering beautiful views of the mountains and a tranquil atmosphere. The hosts were friendly and provided us with fresh eggs for breakfast and milk for our coffee, which was a nice touch. The cottage itself was newly decorated and very comfortable, with spacious rooms and a cute interior. Additionally, we appreciated the fact that there was a skylight in one of the bedrooms, allowing us to stargaze at night.
During our stay, we encountered a few minor inconveniences. as we visited during a cold snap, the air from the lounge's AC unit didn't reach the bedrooms, so a small heater would have been helpful.
